Carl regularly serves as lead counsel for clients of all sizes in merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions, and he has also served as lead counsel for developers in project finance transactions. In addition, Carl represents corporations, limited partnerships, and limited liability companies (from start-up to mature stage) as outside general counsel, and represents executives, independent contractors and high net-worth individuals in connection with their employment and service contracts, investments, and other business transactions. Carl also has substantial experience in, and often advises, for-profit and not-for-profit businesses with respect to income tax and other tax-related matters, including representation of taxpayers in tax controversies.
