Carol Weld King is a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Development and Finance and Hospitality practices. Her practice focuses on transaction structuring, financing, acquisition, and development activities in the hospitality and lodging industry.
Ms. King has represented various owners, investors, developers, and lenders in a broad range of transactional work for hospitality and gaming, office, multifamily, mixed-use, and light industrial projects. She currently serves as principal counsel to several hotel equity funds and public and private corporations in connection with a series of hotel acquisitions, financings, and ground-up developments throughout the United States. She regularly counsels clients in capital markets transactions and has successfully led several recent real estate merger and acquisition transactions. In addition, Ms. King serves as principal transactional counsel to a prominent Native American tribe in connection with one of the country's largest gaming and hospitality projects. Over the last several years, she has participated in numerous structured finance transactions for a variety of real estate projects. Ms. King also represents several major real estate development companies and corporate clients, both locally and nationally, in a variety of land and office development projects.
In 2014, Ms. King advised on Americas Lodging Investment Summit’s Development of the Year and Single Asset Transaction of the Year.
