Carolyn Rincon practices in the Commercial Litigation and Labor and Employment Client Service Groups. Ms. Rincon represents clients in litigated claims involving breach of contract, fraud, unfair competition, bankruptcy and product liability, as well as claims under various state and federal statutes, including deceptive trade practice statutes, Title VII and ERISA. Ms. Rincon routinely represents national banks in loan origination and wrongful foreclosure disputes. Her experience covers every aspect of litigation at the administrative level, as well as in federal and state court, at the trial and appellate levels.
Ms. Rincon’s employment practice is concentrated in counseling and defending employers in matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge and unfair competition claims. Ms. Rincon prepares employment agreements, settlement agreements, separation and severance agreements and employment handbooks. She has also served as a contributing editor to the American Bar Association’s Employment Discrimination Law.
Ms. Rincon is an active member of the New York office's Recruiting Committee and Women’s Forum. Prior to law school, Ms. Rincon worked in the Frauds Bureau and Investigation Division Central of the New York County District Attorney’s Office.
