Carrie L. Weintraub is Chief Professional Development and Recruiting Officer in the Tampa office of Holland & Knight. Ms. Weintraub oversees the firm's lawyer recruiting, hiring and professional development initiatives. She works closely with firm leadership to develop and implement strategies and processes that support client satisfaction through the recruitment, development and advancement of high quality legal talent. She also coaches lawyers individually, providing guidance on career and skill development and advancement.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Weintraub served in a similar role as the director of attorney recruiting and professional development of another law firm. She also worked as a legal search consultant specializing in the search and placement of lateral attorneys.
Ms. Weintraub began her legal career practicing corporate, securities and tax law. She also served for two years as a federal judicial law clerk for The Honorable Mark A. Pizzo, United States Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, Middle District of Florida. In addition, she served as an adjunct professor in the University of Tampa's MBA program where she taught Enterprise Organization and Capitalization.
