Charles is an experienced business and securities litigator who has represented clients in complex commercial disputes as well as insurance coverage, product liability and employment matters for more than 20 years. Charles also has significant experience in the energy sector, handling energy-related litigation around the country.

He has considerable courtroom and arbitration experience representing clients as both plaintiffs and defendants, achieving impressive results on both sides. Acting as co-counsel in an arbitration matter regarding a royalty dispute for a large publicly-traded oil and gas company, he was able to secure a substantial victory for his client. As lead counsel for a series of arbitrations for a large health care management company Charles obtained multimillion dollar verdicts in favor of his client as a plaintiff and dismissals or favorable settlements in their capacity of a defendant. His litigation prowess is evidenced through his success in these and countless other matters.

Prior to law school, Charles worked as an investment banking and commercial financial analyst with two large commercial banks. This prior real world experience has given Charles a distinct advantage in his ability to quickly understand and effectively prosecute or defend complex business disputes.
