Chris A. Byrd

Chris Byrd is Of Counsel in the technology transactions practice at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on the representation of life sciences companies in complex business transactions involving intellectual property. Much of his practice is devoted to negotiating and drafting technology licensing agreements, research and development collaborations, and corporate partnering transactions. He has experience representing both early-stage and public companies on a national and international level.

As a graduate student, Chris conducted research in genetics, molecular biology, and biochemistry. He has authored several scientific publications and has presented his research at national and international meetings.
