A Partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office, Chris Holm concentrates his practice on intellectual property law, with a primary focus on patent litigation and prosecution. His clients span a broad array of technologies and legal issues, with a particular concentration in electrical and mechanical technologies, including electronic commerce and finance-related patents. Chris is a registered patent attorney and works hand-in-hand with individual inventors and companies, providing guidance, counsel and advice regarding the filing and obtainment of U.S. and foreign patents. He also successfully defends against allegations of patent infringement in U.S. District Courts and the International Trade Commission.

With a technical background in aerospace, he regularly works on matters that involve computer and signal processing, electronics and radio communications. His direct experience with clients in the securities trading and banking sectors has resulted in the granting of numerous U.S. patents.

Prior to attending George Washington University Law School, Chris had a rewarding and successful career as a naval aviator, where he was stationed ashore and afloat to support conflict areas around the world.
