Christine focuses her practice on labor and employment matters, more specifically on discrimination lawsuits of all types, whistleblower claims, non-compete and trade secret claims. She has practiced in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit and the Appeals Court for the 1st District of Illinois. She has also appeared on behalf of employers before numerous federal, state and local agencies charged with the protection of employee rights, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Illinois Department of Human Rights, the Illinois Human Rights Commission and the Cook County Commission on Human Rights.
She has litigated claims on behalf of employers and counseled clients regarding Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Civil Rights Act of 1866, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act, and various state employment laws. She has litigated non-compete agreements to enforce and prevent enforcement of such agreements, and has represented employees and employers in matters involving trade secrets, fiduciary obligations, and Computer Fraud and Abuse Act claims.
While earning her law degree from Northwestern, Christine received the school’s public service award.
