Christopher Machera is a partner in Weil’s Private Equity practice and is based in the New York office. Mr. Machera represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with acquisitions, dispositions, minority investments and general corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Chris served as Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Goldman Sachs, where he provided internal counseling to the Merchant Banking Division. In that capacity, he was responsible for overseeing legal aspects of numerous transactions and related issues affecting the Merchant Banking Division and its portfolio companies.
