Claudia K. Simon focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, representing strategic and private equity clients in a wide variety of transactions, including mergers, tender offers, exchange offers, stock acquisitions, asset acquisitions, international transactions, joint ventures, going-private transactions and leveraged buyouts. Her M&A experience spans numerous industries, including financial services, pharmaceutical, health care, technology, consumer goods, food, transportation, entertainment, telecommunications, construction, general industrials, and aerospace and defense. In addition to her work in the acquisitions arena, Claudia advises clients on takeover defenses and corporate governance matters.

Claudia has extensive experience with transactions involving public company targets and chairs the American Bar Association’s annual Strategic Buyer/Public Target M&A Deal Points Study, which is commonly used to inform “what’s market” in acquisitions of public companies.
