Cliff Robertson is a member of the firm’s Corporate & Securities team, focusing his practice on the healthcare industry. He has particular experience with complex issues surrounding anti-kickback statutes, Stark Law, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), professional associations, physician affiliate corporations, and medical education.

Cliff prepares, reviews and provides counsel on contracts related to healthcare operations, including physician employment agreements, physician services agreements, clinical research services agreements, laboratory equipment contracts, pediatric resident agreements, clinical affiliation agreements, professional services agreements, and consulting services agreements.

In addition to his healthcare expertise, Cliff is also well-versed in a variety of corporate law matters including formation of business entities, choice of entity for new business enterprises, and corporate governance. He regularly prepares and reviews formation documents, governing documents, shareholders’ agreements, equity transfer instruments and business contracts for limited liability companies, limited partnerships, corporations and professional associations. Cliff provides counsel to business owners and companies in relation to corporate restructuring, entity conversions, and amendments to governing documents.

Prior to joining Strasburger, Cliff served as in-house counsel to Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and as an admissions recruiter for SMU Dedman School of Law.
