Craig Friedman represents employers in a wide variety of labor and employment matters and defends employers in single and multiplaintiff actions. He has represented employers in a broad range of actions, including suits brought under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and various state laws. His cases have included claims of discrimination, retaliation, hostile work environment, breach of contract, and failure to accommodate. In addition, Craig represents employers in traditional labor matters, such as labor arbitrations, and counsels employers on a range of labor and employment compliance issues.
Craig successfully argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that the lower court properly dismissed claims of race, gender, and disability discrimination.
Craig is a member of the Labor and Employment Sections of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. He serves on the Leadership Council of Young Audiences, Woodruff Arts Center, a nonprofit organization that provides educational arts programming to Georgia students.
