Cristina A. Cossio is Senior Counsel in Greenspoon Marder’s Family Law Practice Group.

Ms. Cossio earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where she graduated cum laude. At Nova Southeastern University, Ms. Cossio was the recipient of book awards for earning the highest grades in Criminal Procedure, Advanced Criminal Law, and Trial Advocacy. Ms. Cossio was the lead technical editor of the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law and was the vice president of the Student Animal Legal Defense Fund.

In 2011, Ms. Cossio attended Temple University, Beasley School of Law, summer abroad program in Rome, Italy. There she studied international criminal law and international civil litigation. During her third year in law school, Ms. Cossio was a Certified Legal Intern for the NSU Children and Families Clinic where she handled pro bono family law cases.

Ms. Cossio completed her Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Criminal Justice, from Florida International University, graduating magna cum laude. During her undergraduate education, she was a member of Alpha Phi Sigma and the Golden Key International Honour Society. Also, Ms. Cossio attended Saint Brendan High School in Miami, Florida.

Born and raised in Miami, Ms. Cossio enjoys spending time outdoors and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She stays active in local animal charities and fundraising events. Ms. Cossio attributes her strong work ethic and desire to help others to her family background.
