Damon McLean concentrates his practice on securities regulation and corporate governance for REITs and other real estate companies.

Damon has represented numerous REITs in public and private securities offerings, SEC periodic and current reporting compliance, corporate governance matters and mergers and acquisitions. He also represents investment banking firms in underwritten public and private equity and debt offerings by REITs.

Since 2003, Damon has focused principally on the unlisted, publicly offered REIT industry and has represented many of the largest sponsors in this sector in initial and follow-on offerings. He has developed extensive experience helping clients to assess and manage their compliance with blue sky securities laws in all US states and territories.
