Danielle N. Garno
focuses her law practice on issues faced by the fashion community, including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, trademark infringement, anti-counterfeiting, employment, and general business litigation. Danielle’s practice also includes a focus on complex civil litigation with an emphasis on white-collar defense and fraud actions. Her white-collar practice includes defense of corporations against federal and state indictments, as well as internal investigations and negotiations with various federal and state agencies. Garno is experienced in cases involving the FCPA, False Claims Act, fraud, Ponzi schemes, securities violations, money laundering, conspiracy and racketeering. She has tried cases in a variety of areas, obtaining verdicts in favor of her clients. She recently received a certificate of completion from the Fashion Law Institute’s fourth-annual "Fashion Law Bootcamp." The six-day program provides attorneys and other industry professionals an opportunity to experience the newly defined field of fashion law outside of the standard law school curriculum.
