Dara Denberg is a partner in the New York office of Latham & Watkins. Ms. Denberg is a member of the Finance Department and Real Estate Practice, where she focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions of real estate based companies, joint ventures, equity investments and development.

Ms. Denberg has substantial experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions involving companies with large portfolios of retail, hospitality and other asset types and in the formation and negotiation of complex joint ventures for purposes of developing and operating hotels and casinos, medical office buildings, residential developments, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.

Ms. Denberg's work also includes commercial dispositions and acquisitions, and development projects. Ms. Denberg has represented both purchasers and sellers in acquisitions and sales of various types of commercial real estate, including retail stores, office buildings, medical office buildings and power plants. She has also been involved in the structuring of entities and the transfer of corporate and limited liability company interests in connection with real estate transactions.
