Darrell W. Taylor is a partner in the Corporate and Securities group at Jackson Walker. Mr. Taylor handles a broad range of capital markets matters, including initial public offerings, large U.S. and international debt and equity offerings, tender and exchange offers, and other financing matters. He also helps clients negotiate, document, and complete mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.

Mr. Taylor's clients are primarily from the energy, energy services, and petrochemical industries. Prior to joining Jackson Walker, he practiced at a Houston-based international firm for 26 years, where he served as lead securities counsel in initial public offerings and other going public transactions for issuers such as Cornell Companies, Equistar Chemical, Hydril Company, KBR, LyondellBasell Industries, Pennzoil-Quaker State, and Purolator Products. Mr. Taylor also represented underwriters such as Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch in initial public offerings and follow-on offerings for ATP Oil & Gas, Energy Partners, Ltd., and W&T Offshore.

In addition, at his prior firm, Darrell represented Equistar Chemical, Halliburton, Hydril, Living Centers of America, Lyondell Chemical, Millennium Chemical, Pennzoil, and Pennzoil-Quaker State in multiple equity issuance, debt issuance, and exchange offer transactions as well as related acquisition and divestiture transactions.

Mr. Taylor received his B.B.A. in Finance, with honors, from the University of Texas and his J.D., with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law.
