David Super joined Baker Botts as an associate in 1990 and became a partner in 1999. Mr. Super handles environmental litigation and complex commercial litigation in federal and state trial and appellate courts, throughout the country.

Mr. Super’s broad experience includes lawsuits relating to environmental claims under the Clean Air Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act and CERCLA, as well as a wide-array of complex commercial disputes, including defense of class actions, allegations of fraud and other business torts, breach of contract, employment discrimination claims, constitutional takings, energy issues and government contracts.

With over twenty-two years of experience representing the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the former Resolution Trust Corporation, Mr. Super has substantial experience in banking issues, receivership issues, regulation of financial institutions, the interpretation of statutes and agency regulations and principles of administrative law.
