David Ackerman is a member of Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. His practice includes civil litigation in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, private arbitrations before the American Arbitration Association, representation of clients in administrative proceedings and white collar defense. David has represented numerous corporations in disputes concerning contract disputes, securities claims and fraud claims. He also has counseled directors and employees of Fortune 500 companies, including Enron and Fannie Mae, in investigations conducted by the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). He has represented clients in connection with marketing practices-related investigations conducted by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state attorneys general, and plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property disputes involving allegations of trade dress and patent infringement, copyright, trademark and unfair competition.
