David’s legal practice focuses on intellectual property litigation and complex commercial litigation, including trade secret disputes, patent, trademark and copyright infringement, consumer class actions, antitrust actions, complex contract disputes, business torts, products liability and other civil litigation matters.

David represents clients in both bench and jury trials before state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration. He has extensive experience in all areas of litigation, including investigating and preparing case filings, conducting hearings on dispositive motions, taking and defending fact and expert depositions, drafting motions and briefs, preparing cases for trial and trying cases. David also handles appellate matters in the Texas Courts of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Tenth Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Before joining Munsch Hardt, David practiced in the Complex Commercial Litigation and Intellectual Property Litigation Sections at an international law firm in Austin.
