David Lee is a highly seasoned transactional lawyer with over 17 years of experience representing private equity funds and their portfolio companies, emerging companies and Fortune 500 companies. His practice focuses on complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, growth equity investments and venture capital investments, having led matters ranging in transaction size of several million dollars to over $2 billion.

Mr. Lee has led and handled transactions for numerous private equity firms, including The Carlyle Group, Macquarie Global Opportunities Partners, Lone Star, Madison Dearborn Partners, H.I.G. Capital, Wind Point Partners, Bain Capital and Allstate Private Equity.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lee was the CEO and co-founder of a technology company that focuses on developing expert workflow systems in Mergers & Acquisitions. His professional passion is to make the M&A process more efficient by leveraging technology and best practices. Prior to that, he was a senior partner in the private equity practice of an international law firm.
