David Lieberman is a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Department and chairs the Firm’s Energy and Infrastructure Practice.

David has advised numerous strategic and private equity clients in connection with acquisition, financing and disposition of energy and infrastructure assets, including PPL, Macquarie Infrastructure Partners, Blackstone, Energy Capital Partners, Stonepeak Partners, Acadia Power Partners, Opti Canada and Elektrizitäts der Stadt Zürich.

David joined the Firm in 1989 and was elected to the partnership in 1997. He received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Columbia University in 1986, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. In 1989 he earned his J.D. with High Honors from Duke Law School and was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a staff editor for Law and Contemporary Problems.
