David Fine is a Denver litigation attorney who focuses on public and commercial litigation, employment litigation and counseling. He also advises on government, public policy and regulatory affairs, including land use, state and local procurement, and bid protests.

Mr. Fine's practice consists of 1) handling complex business and public litigation and investigations, 2) helping clients navigate legal, political, regulatory, land use and administrative issues involving local, state and federal governments and 3) advising clients on political, policy, strategic and public affairs.

Mr. Fine served as the city attorney for the City and County of Denver from 2007 to 2011. In that capacity, he provided policy and legal advice to former Mayor John Hickenlooper and other city leadership. Mr. Fine served as the final decision maker on all critical legal decisions facing the city and managed a large public law firm. Among the highlights of Mr. Fine's tenure as city attorney was his oversight of all legal matters related to the 2008 Democratic National Convention.
