David Rappaport is a partner in the Entertainment and Media practice group and is resident in the firm’s New York office. Mr. Rappaport advises and counsels artists, producers, DJs, independent record labels, independent publishers, executives, festivals and brands.

Mr. Rappaport’s practice focuses on securing, structuring, negotiating and documenting business transactions in the music industry, including recording agreements, distribution agreements, publishing agreements, producer and production agreements, side artist agreements, writer agreements, sponsorship and endorsement agreements, management agreements, festival agreements and merchandise agreements.

Prior to joining Manatt, Mr. Rappaport was a partner at a boutique entertainment law firm.
