Dawn Rudenko's practice covers a wide range of intellectual property areas, including brand protection, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, patents, unfair competition, licensing and cybersecurity. She has represented clients at bench and jury trials and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB), as well as on appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Ms. Rudenko has litigated dozens of complex, high-stakes intellectual property cases for Fortune 500 companies and joint defense groups in courts across the country, including through trial. She also routinely acts as legal counselor and advisor in the 1) maintenance and enforcement of client trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets in the U.S. and abroad, including acquisition and sale of rights, clearance and fair use; 2) negotiation and drafting of patent, trademark and copyright license and other intel property-related agreements; 3) mergers & acquisitions and IP due diligence; 4) freedom to operate analyses, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) claim substantiation compliance; and 5) the management and monetization of intellectual property portfolios. Also, she has an expansive client base in a range of industries that include financial services, consumer products, textile and apparel, media and entertainment, information technology, computer software and hardware, telecommunications and healthcare.

Ms. Rudenko devotes a significant part of her practice to pro bono counseling and litigation with a focus on civil and children's rights and protection.
