Debra P. Goldberg, of counsel to the firm, has over 25 years of experience in representing public and private corporate entities, financial institutions, including commercial and investment banks, leasing and finance companies and monoline insurers, in commercial finance, structured finance and equipment leasing transactions. The scope of her practice is diversified, and includes complex financing and leasing transactions including: asset securitizations and other structured finance transactions; leveraged financing; secured and unsecured credit facilities, “unitranche” loan facilities; equipment lease financings, asset-based and cash flow loans; mezzanine and second lien loans; warehouse facilities; operating, finance and single investor equipment leases; leveraged and cross-border equipment leases and financings (including Eximbank supported aircraft financings); acquisitions and sales of lease and loan portfolios; project finance transactions; ECA-supported transactions involving Eximbank and Hermes.

In addition, Ms. Goldberg also concentrates her practice in aircraft finance and leasing transactions including: facilitating securitizations and the purchase, sale and lease of commercial and business aircraft for individual and corporate owner/operators and commercial airlines; advising clients on compliance with FAA registration requirements for US registered aircraft and structuring issues posed by the FAA policy clarification regarding the ownership of US registered aircraft by non-US citizen trusts.
