Debra S. Serota

Debra Serota is an experienced trademark attorney in the Boston office of Fish & Richardson. Her practice focuses on all aspects of trademark law, including global trademark prosecution, counseling, and enforcement. She represents clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products, food and beverage, manufacturing, medical devices, and software.

Ms. Serota has experience managing international trademark portfolios and counsels clients on global brand strategy, including the selection, clearance, and registration of trademarks, as well as the development of global trademark enforcement strategies and the drafting and negotiating of settlement and co-existence agreements.

Prior to joining Fish, Ms. Serota spent 10 years as in-house trademark counsel for Reebok International Ltd., managing domestic and international trademark matters for the Reebok brands. This experience provides her with a unique understanding of the legal and business challenges her clients face and the ability to offer practical, strategic advice that is directly in line with her client’s overall business objectives.
