Dino S. Sangiamo

Dino Sangiamo litigates civil cases in state and federal courts across the United States. A substantial portion of his practice consists of litigating on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry, although it includes other commercial clients as well.

In the pharmaceutical setting, Mr. Sangiamo has represented manufacturers in a wide variety of vaccine and drug disputes. His products liability practice has included determining nationwide strategy; developing and implementing legal and factual defenses for use across cases; coordinating with other industry defendants; and managing company discovery, including defending company officials at deposition and developing approaches to large-scale document discovery. He has also argued important cases of first impression before the appellate courts. Beyond products liability, Mr. Sangiamo has handled research fraud matters in various contexts including cases involving the False Claims Act. He also has assisted in proceedings before congressional committees and consulted on public relations activities and other client business initiatives. Mr. Sangiamo's experience with numerous legal aspects of the vaccine industry also includes familiarity with national vaccine legislation and implications for industry of proceedings in Vaccine Court, where he has argued motions on behalf of a vaccine manufacturer. He has also assisted in developing regulatory compliance programs. Finally, Mr. Sangiamo has served in a local counsel role in vaccine and medical device cases.

In other commercial settings, Mr. Sangiamo has handled a variety of litigation matters including both arbitrations and lawsuits. In recent years, these have consisted of several matters in the context of the defense industry, cutting-edge medical research and enterprise software.
