I am currently in the Office of the General Counsel at Xerox Business Services, LLC. Prior to joining Xerox, I was a partner in Hunton & Williams' commercial litigation team and the head of the Information Governance & eDiscovery Group that provides state-of-the-art data management and eDiscovery advice and services to a wide variety of corporate clients. My experience includes developing enterprise-level information governance best practices and working with clients to respond to the challenges of electronic discovery.

I have worked with corporate clients to review and assess a client’s current data capabilities and practices to determine both legal and operational risk. I have crafted social media, e-mail, internet, and bring-your-own-device policies, employee training, employee hand books, data mapping, and the implementation of data retention and archive policies. I worked with clients to develop and implement company-wide legal hold and e-discovery protocols to streamline a company’s discovery preparation and response.

I have served as eDiscovery counsel to assist clients’ merits counsel in preparing and responding to litigation discovery. I advised and led massive discovery response plans, often in response to governmental subpoenas or other requests. I have led presentations advising clients and lawyers alike on preservation obligations and strategies, predictive coding, and cross-border discovery issues.

I am an active member of The Sedona Conference WG 1 and Women in eDiscovery. I have been named one of D Magazine’s Best Lawyers in Dallas for both 2014 and 2015.

My practice on commercial litigation matters included contract and business torts, class action defense, securities and fraud litigation, white collar and internal investigations, and media law/first amendment litigation.

I am admitted to U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas and the U.S. 5th Circuit Court of Appeals.
