Mr. Gruener primarily represented financial sector clients, including private equity firms, hedge fund managers, and proprietary trading firms.
Mr. Gruener graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University and earned his JD, magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was the Business Manager of the University of Pittsburgh Law Review. Prior to entering law school, Mr. Gruener was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to research Japanese corporate governance at Kobe University.
