Doug focuses his practice on business litigation, representing business clients in a variety of shareholder, banking, regulatory, products liability, and commercial litigation matters. In October 2005, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. An active leader in the community and bar, Doug lectures regularly on litigation and professional responsibility topics. Chambers and Partners' 2012 Chambers USA Client Guide describes Doug as" a highly experienced litigator and arbitrator who, according to one source, 'deserves to be at the top of any list.'" Doug became General Counsel of McGuireWoods in July 2013.
