Edgard Alvarez is Counsel in our New York office, advising clients on a variety of capital market matters with a particular focus on cross-border debt and equity offerings.

Edgard has extensive experience in public and private offerings of asset-backed securities, equity securities, and specialized products such as commodity-based exchange-traded funds and longevity-linked notes. He has advised European and Latin American market participants, including corporates, commercial and investment banks, multilateral financial organizations, and monoline insurers, in connection with the securitization of airline ticket receivables, credit card vouchers, export receivables, and diversified payment rights, among other assets.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Edgard worked at another international law firm where he concentrated on corporate and capital market transactions.
