Edward Lee maintains a broad based litigation practice, focusing on trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property disputes. He also handles complex environmental litigation, consumer protection litigation, securities arbitrations and bankruptcy litigation.

Mr. Lee has significant experience with trademark and copyright protection and enforcement matters related to Internet and new media applications, including both prosecuting and defending claims of cyber-piracy and infringement stemming from the digital distribution of rights-protected content. He also has experience prosecuting false advertising and counterfeiting claims on behalf of national and international retail clients.

In the environmental arena, Mr. Lee has handled CERCLA/Superfund cost recovery litigation, including a contribution and cost recovery case involving numerous potentially responsible parties who owned and operated a lead contaminated site over a period of 70 years. He has also defended an enforcement action brought by the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

Mr. Lee also has experience working on a variety of complex class action litigations involving alleged breaches of various consumer protection laws by clients in the retail and financial services sectors.

Mr. Lee regularly counsels clients in the gathering, review and production of electronically stored information (ESI). He has managed large and small e-discovery projects, including negotiating e-discovery issues with opposing counsel and coordinating with ESI vendors.
