Elizabeth (Liz) Chandler is a California and Washington State lawyer specializing in representing technology companies, emerging companies and investors in venture capital and private equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, cross-border transactions, corporate formation, corporate governance and U.S. securities law compliance matters.

Liz has over a decade of experience as an advisor to companies and investors regarding corporate transactions and securities law. Prior to joining the Thompson Legal Advisory Services team in March 2016, she was a corporate and securities attorney at DLA Piper, Godfrey & Kahn, Fenwick & West and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. At Thompson Legal Advisory Services, Liz focuses on providing superior legal services to the firm’s clients across its practice areas.

Liz received her J.D. with honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 2003, where she was an Editorial Board Member for the Washington Law Review and was designated as a member of the Order of the Coif. She graduated from the University of Washington in 1999 with a B.A. in political science, cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She also achieved a Certificate in Trans-Atlantic Studies from the University of Bath, United Kingdom, in 1999. Liz is admitted to practice law in California and Washington.
