Elizabeth M. Mitchell is an experienced litigator who practices in the area of complex business litigation. Ms. Mitchell represents businesses in cases involving contract disputes, business torts, class actions and a variety of corporate governance disputes. She also represents a number of clients in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries in product liability and False Claims Act litigation. Additionally, Ms. Mitchell represents companies in environmental and toxic tort disputes, as well as athletic conferences and/or their members in connection with litigation arising out of conference realignment. Her experience includes multi-district litigation, as well as state and federal litigation across the United States.

Within the firm, Ms. Mitchell is a member of the firm's Product Liability Team, Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry Focus Team and Class Action Litigation Team. Ms. Mitchell participated in Holland & Knight's 2007 Rising Star program, an intensive and dynamic economic development and leadership training program for senior women within Holland & Knight. She is the chair of the Women’s Initiative for the Boston office and participates in a number of firm initiatives, including the Diversity Committee, the provision of pro bono services and recruitment efforts.
