Emil R. Infante concentrates in securities, financial regulation, banking, family office services, cross-border transactions and international dispute resolution. He advises Sovereign Nations, US and foreign companies and family groups doing business in Latin America and the Caribbean on complex corporate and financial matters.

Emil previously served as managing partner of a boutique law firm, representing elite clients in matters in Latin America and serving as primary counsel for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the region. Earlier in his career, Emil worked as an investment advisor, creating and heading a company’s professional athlete division and advising professional athletes on the administration of their financial affairs. In this role, he also advised high-net-worth individuals and institutions.

Emil frequently represents US and foreign clients in complex cross-border disputes. He has participated as counsel in multiple international litigation and arbitration matters in the US, Europe and Latin America. He also has been engaged as a legal expert in international disputes concerning issues of US, Latin American and international law.

Emil was previously an associate with the Financial Services Roundtable in Washington, DC, where he promoted the interests of member companies in federal, legislative, regulatory and judicial fora in order to effectively communicate the benefits of competitive and integrated financial services to the American public.
