Eric A. Smith focuses his practice on helping private equity and venture capital firms acquire portfolio companies. He provides mergers and acquisitions, securities and ongoing corporate counsel to clients in a variety of industries.

Eric has extensive experience in the sale and acquisition of veterinary practices, closing roughly 50 transactions valued from $1 million to $10 million each year. He also assists private equity companies in acquiring smaller developers of pharmaceuticals and represents pharmaceutical manufacturers in finding private equity funding.

Additionally, Eric provides counsel on private equity transactions for small and emerging companies, including manufacturing firms and restaurants.
