Eric J. Faragi

Eric Faragi’s practice focuses on litigation and counseling clients in connection with intellectual property matters, particularly patent matters in high technology areas, as well as patent prosecution and portfolio management. A named inventor on four U.S. Patents, Mr. Faragi has a decade of experience as an engineer in the electronics industry which provides him with a keen ability to understand complex technologies as well as the business concerns of clients.

Mr. Faragi is skilled in litigation of matters in high technology areas from complaint to appeal, leveraging his engineering background and work experience in the electronics industry. Technologies include: flash memory, semiconductor fabrication, liquid crystal displays, cellular technologies, communications, video compression and medical devices. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Faragi worked as a senior staff engineer at Motorola, where he researched and developed advanced manufacturing technologies (including liquid crystal displays and interconnects, alternate shielding technologies and consumer changeable housings) for next-generation cell phones and pagers.

Mr. Faragi also represents pro bono clients in various family law matters for Her Justice (f/k/a inMotion), an organization which provides assistance to women who are the victims of domestic violence or who are otherwise impoverished. He received the John K. Geiger Award as part of inMotion’s 2013 Commitment to Justice Awards for his work in representing low-income women in family law cases.
