Ms. Taggart specializes in plaintiff-side structured finance disputes against large financial institutions. Her practice includes a wide variety of commercial litigation involving residential mortgage back securities, structured finance, financial fraud, large banking litigation, fraudulent transfers, derivatives and other complex financial instruments, and various breach of contract disputes. Over the last decade, she has also represented various clients in litigation involving trade secret misappropriation, insurance coverage, securities fraud, antitrust, financial misrepresentation, and various types of commercial disputes. She was named in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2011, and 2012 as a "Rising Star" by Southern California Super Lawyers. In 2013 and 2014, she was named a “Rising Star” in the New York Metro area by Super Lawyers. She currently works out of Quinn Emanuel's New York office.
