Erin Rantas is a Member of the Firm’s Family Law Practice Group and devotes her practice exclusively to all aspects of divorce and family law. She is a qualified Family Law Mediator pursuant to NJ Court Rule 1:40.

Whether litigating or mediating, Ms. Rantas represents domestic and internationally based clients in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including divorce/dissolution matters, custody and parenting time issues, alimony and child support, marital, pre-marital, co-habitation and separation agreements, domestic violence and matters concerning the Department of Child Protection and Permanency (formerly “DYFS”). She represents clients at all stages of trial and in various types of plenary hearings. Ms. Rantas has significant Appellate experience and has successfully argued before the New Jersey Appellate Division.

Ms. Rantas develops and implements tailored, strategic, team-based approaches to the resolution of individual client matters. This approach involves, where appropriate, the engagement of experts, including forensic accountants, mental health professionals, employability experts, real estate appraisers, and custody and alcohol/drug evaluators.

Ms. Rantas is involved in various professional commitments outside of the Firm and in her community. She has authored articles on matrimonial matters and lectured at local businesses/groups, professional events and seminars. Ms. Rantas completed the rigorous and prestigious week long trial academy conducted by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. She previously served as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist for Bergen County and is a current Panelist for Morris County. Ms. Rantas is a past volunteer at the County College of Morris Women’s Center Legal Clinic, where for years she provided free consultations to litigants with family law issues.
