Erin Morgan Klug

Erin Morgan Klug earned her Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Ms. Klug is admitted to practice before the State Courts of Michigan and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. Klug focuses her practice mainly in patent procurement but additionally has extensive experience in trademark applications, copyright matters and litigation. Ms. Klug continues to successfully develop meaningful relationships with a wide range of clients from large conglomerates to solo entrepreneurs. She has experience in a vast array of technical arts including vehicles, chassis systems, brake assemblies, packaging, medical devices, consumer goods, mobile applications, sensors and control systems. Ms. Klug works together with her clients to develop both domestic and international intellectual property strategies to ensure the broadest possible protection for her clients.

During law school Ms. Klug studied European intellectual property law at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy and worked as a patent law research assistant for Case Western. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, with distinction, from the University of Michigan. While completing her undergraduate degree, Erin worked at Ford Motor Company in quality control and design engineering. Erin Morgan Klug was routinely awarded the Dean’s Award for academic excellence at the University of Michigan and was inducted into Pi Tau Sigma, the Honorary Mechanical Engineering Society.

Ms. Klug is the current Treasurer for the Women’s Bar Association and is active in the Oakland County Bar Association, Animal Law Defense Fund, Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association, Women's Lawyer's Association of Michigan, Society of Women Engineers and Inforum Professional Women's Alliance. Her personal interests include running marathons, spending time with her dogs, traveling and volunteering with various animal rescue organizations.
