Erinn Contreras is a special counsel in the Business Trial Practice Group in the firm's San Francisco office.

Ms. Contreras works with clients across all industries on their most complex commercial litigation needs. In particular, she focuses her representation on litigation related to construction defects, breach of contract, landlord/tenant disputes and other types of real estate-related litigation. Ms. Contreras also represents clients in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, unfair business practices and products liability in California state and federal courts.

Ms. Contreras also advises employers on a wide array of employment issues, including employee terminations, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence and requests for accommodation. Ms. Contreras regularly represents employers in single plaintiff actions involving claims for wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment and retaliation, and in wage and hour class actions involving claims for misclassification, overtime pay, meal and rest period violations and wage statement violations.

She is well-versed in all facets of litigation, from pre-trial settlement, discovery and through trial. She has had significant success settling cases through mediation and other means, and has also succeeded in obtaining summary judgment on behalf of her clients. Most recently, she achieved a substantial judgment following a four-week trial.
