Evan Hiller is an associate in the firm’s intellectual property litigation group. He focuses on technology litigation, primarily patent litigation. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray in 2013, Evan was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona, where he represented the State and its agencies in complex and/or high-profile civil litigation.
Evan is experienced in civil litigation, including discovery, pre-trial proceedings, trial, and appeal. He has taken and defended fact depositions, drafted a variety of pleadings, argued dispositive motions in state and federal court, conducted a bench trial, and argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
