Has over 45 years’ experience as an active civil litigator in both private practice and with the United States Department of Justice. As Assistant Attorney General over the Civil Division of the United States Department of Justice he had primary responsibility for most civil litigation brought by and against the United States and its officials.
Experience in civil trial practice throughout the State of Mississippi and neighboring states representing the interests of a variety of clients in both simple and complex litigation matters. While with the United States Department of Justice he had primary responsibility for the Federal Torts Claims Act and the False Claims Act.
Experience serving as both local and regional counsel for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
