Fred is a nationally recognized trial lawyer whose practice focuses on complex litigation and counseling, with emphasis on intellectual property, antitrust, class action and white-collar disputes. For more than 20 years, the majority of his work has been devoted to representing industry-leading companies in cases involving patent infringement, trade secret, competition, trade regulation and consumer protection claims.
Fred prepares and tries cases to judges and juries across the country. He has extensive experience in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and in representing technology companies and financial institutions nationwide. He has represented clients in diverse proceedings in 28 different states and the District of Columbia. He also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on civil rights and consumer-protection litigation.
