Gabriela Sakamoto is a partner in Mayer Brown’s Washington DC office and a member of the Banking & Finance practice and Latin America, Emerging Markets and Projects groups.

Gabriela advises clients in the areas of project finance, structured finance and acquisition financing, particularly in Latin America. She has represented commercial banks in various roles, including as administrative agent, security agent, underwriter and/or placement agent. Her Latin American experience is extensive and includes transactions in Peru, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Chile. She is also experienced in handling Turkish structured finance issuances.
