Gary S. Freed is the Managing Partner of Freed Howard LLC. With 35 years of experience, he concentrates on resolving business disputes and is actively involved in the Georgia legal community.

Gary focuses on restrictive covenant and trade secrets, business divorce, judicial ethics, executive employment, lending, and real estate matters. He has represented a variety of clients including high-tech companies, manufacturers, judges, athletes, developers, insurers, Chinese businesses, recyclers, restaurants, and financial institutions. Gary has resolved disputes in mediations, arbitrations, state and federal courts in more than 25 states. He has been recognized in: Martindale-Hubbell as a Top Rated Lawyer in Intellectual Property and as AV® Preeminent Rated; Georgia Trend Magazine Legal Elite; and Georgia Super Lawyers. He is a trained mediator and arbitrator.

Gary is a member of the State Bar Board of Governors and serves on the Bench and Bar and Professionalism committees. He has served the DeKalb Bar Association as President, board member, CLE chairman, Law Day chairman and Judicial Liaison Committee chair.
