Greg Carpenter has extensive experience representing national and regional financial institutions in structuring, negotiating, and documenting secured and unsecured transactions throughout the country ranging in size from $1 million to several hundred million dollars. His experience includes financing a wide variety of real estate assets, including residential developments, affordable housing and redevelopment projects, residential and commercial condominium projects, office and industrial buildings, retail centers, golf courses, sports facilities, and hotels.
Greg's practice focuses on asset-based and real estate financing transactions, including acquisition and development loans, construction loans, bridge loans, mezzanine loans, participating/contingent interest loans, multiproperty revolving credit facilities, tenant-in-common credit facilities, working capital lines of credit, equipment lines of credit, syndications, participations, and other intercreditor transactions. He also regularly assists lenders in restructuring distressed loans, workouts, foreclosures, and other related matters.
Greg is a member of the American Bar Association. He has written on new registration requirements for foreclosed properties.
