Hae Park Suk

Hae Park-Suk concentrates her practice on trademark prosecution, clearance, anti-counterfeiting, domain disputes, licensing, and enforcement. Ms. Park-Suk works closely with clients, counseling on the availability and proper use of trademarks, managing extensive domestic and foreign trademark portfolios, developing enforcement and defensive strategies, resolving trademark infringement disputes, working frequently with Customs agents in the U.S. and globally to prevent entry or export of counterfeit products.

Ms. Park-Suk represents clients in a variety of industries including advertising, cosmetics, entertainment, finance, foods, freight delivery and logistics, machinery, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, software, telecommunications, textiles, toys, etc.

Ms. Park-Suk began her career in trademarks as an intern with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office during law school, and then as a law clerk with the Office of the Commissioner for Trademarks. Afterwards, she served as a Trademark Examining Attorney for two years before joining a trademark and copyright law firm in Washington D.C. Prior to joining Nixon & Vanderhye, Ms. Park-Suk practiced trademark law for 11 years in the Washington D.C. office of a general practice law firm.

She has been ranked in the World's Leading Trademark Professionals, World Trademark Review WTR 1000 for the years 2013-2016.

Ms. Park-Suk is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. She is also admitted to practice in Virginia, but currently is an inactive member of that bar. She is a member of the International Trademark Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association.
