Heather D. Hearne is an associate in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher's Orange County office and is a member of the firm's Labor and Employment Practice Group. Ms. Hearne has significant experience preparing dispositive motions and handling complex discovery and motion practice in both California and federal courts. She has represented clients across the country in a wide range of matters, including defending multiple wage and hour class actions in federal and state court, as well as wrongful termination claims and responding to union organization efforts. Ms. Hearne regularly advises clients on employment matters, including reviewing and recommending changes to employee handbooks as well as conducting sexual harassment training for supervisors.
Ms. Hearne received her law degree in 2007 from the UCLA School of Law, where she was a Symposium Editor of the Law Review and a Program Director of the Women's Law Union. She was a President's Scholar and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with minors in Spanish and Journalism, from Southern Methodist University in 2001.
